Lebanon and Conewago Trails

We rode portions of the Lebanon Valley Recreaction Trail and Conewago Recreation Trails on June 1 and August 17, 2013. The trail surface varies from macadam to packed gravel to two tire tracks with grass in the middle.
On June 1st we started in the city of Lebanon on a very hot and humid day. There is a designated parking area for the trail, but on the day that we rode the trail we ran into a street fair that blocked off the entrance to this official parking area and so we parked in the lot of the Rite Aid between 9th and 10th streets near where the north and south portions of rt 72 meet. The trail passes alongside this lot. The official parking area is accessed from 8th St just south of Poplar St.
There is also a parking access in Cornwall at the intersection of Rt. 419 and Boyd St.
