On June 9, 2013 we bicycled from Slatington to Cementon PA on the D&L Trail. We parked at the Slatington access and the rest rooms there are now open.

Women need to be aware that the door to the center toilet stall is cut out so as not to interfer with the toilet. This poor design has rendered the door useless.
Slate Heritage Trail Entrance
Looking back towards the Slatedale Trail As you enter the trail to Cementon, on your right is a small parking area and the entrance to a side trail to Slatedale that is approx. 3 miles long.

At approx 1.2 mi. on your right you can catch a glimpse of this bony cyclist sitting up in a tree and warning of danger ahead.

Picnic Table There are many places to rest and have a picnic along the trail.
Rails and Slate At 4.6 miles you come upon this cliff of slate and the remains of a railbed.

Approx. 5 mi from Slatington there is more trail parking south of the Treichlers bridge

This parking area is 2.3 miles north of Cementon and approx. 7 mi south of Slatington.

Cementon Park Just before the trail ends you will come to this park which is a nice place to take a break.
Cementon Parking off Rt 329
Bridge to Northampton There are no bathrooms at this end of the trail but just over the bridge into Northampton turn right onto Canal St and there is a park and bathrooms about 1 mile into the park.
