On Aug 30th, 2013, we rode the Swatara Rail Trail. We parked at the trail access off Lickdale Rd, which can be reached from Rt. I-81, exit 90. Travel east on Fisher Ave. which turns into Lickdale Road east of Rt 72. Once crossing Rt. 72 make a left at the camping sign. Behind the camp registration building is a small parking lot for the trail.
There were no bathrooms along this trail and even though we saw no horses, there was plenty of evidence that they use the trails.
