Pine Creek Rail Trail ~ Rattlesnake Rock Access to Black Walnut Access

On June 27 2014, after visiting the Canton Wine and Cheese Festival, we rode almost 22 miles on the Pine Creek Trail. All of my mileage is from a bicycle odometer and is approximate.

Rattlesnake Rock Access Parking
The parking area runs along Rt 414 and is just south of Blackwell.

This bridge is 2.8 miles south of the Rattlesnake Rock Access.
Cedar Run
At 3.15 miles we came to the access for the campgrounds at the village of Cedar Run.
Perry's Ice Cream
At 3.5 miles we arrived at the village of Cedar Run and Perry's Ice Cream is a popular stop.

This stretch of the trail is nice and shady.

This marshy area lies 5.8 miles south of Rattlesnake Rock.
Hilborn Field Comfort Station
Here we are a little more than halfway to our turn around point of Black Walnut Bottom.

At 7.7 miles we arrived at Slate Run
Wolfes General Store
At 8.7 miles you will see Wolfes General Store to your left.

They carry ice cream but we chose the icing topped cinnamon buns which were very good.

Just south is the Slate Run Access area to the trail
Tomb Flats
At 9.9 miles we came to Tomb Flats and there are picnic tables here.
Black Walnut Bottom
This was our turn around point after 10.6 miles of biking and we were 2.5 miles north of the Ross Run Access which we had bike to from Jersey Shore on a previous weekend. There are no bathrooms here.
